I have been reading a series called Annie's Attic Mysteries. It is about Annie who just lost her husband and is feeling at a loss. When her grandmother also dies and leaves Annie her house in Maine, Annie jumps at the chance to go back there where she spent many happy summers as a child with her grandmother.
There are 30 books in this series and while the characters of each book are the same. They are written by different authors.
